- public art + people
- can art change the way people feel about their community?
- can public art be something that is already there?
- can public art make people feel safer?
Cheriton Artland Light Festival
Cheriton / February 2013
We are really looking forward to the next installment of the Cheriton Artland programme, which continues in the New Year with a weekend festival of light and fire. Over two nights in February the south east Kent town of Cheriton will become the must see destination, when a programme of new artworks will be displayed on the High Streets of the town for everyone to experience and enjoy. International artists will be working with Strange Cargo to deliver this event, including Ross Ashton, Tine Bech, Andrew Baldwin and Greg Stobbs.
The event has been supported by Arts Council, Roger De Haan Charitable Trust, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, The Tory Family Trust, Shepway District Council and Kent County Council.
