A retrospective exhibition of drawings and watercolours spanning the years 1978 through to 2009. The inspiration for David Raisbeck’s images comes from various sources, be it High Renaissance drawings, medieval wood cuts, old manuscripts and documents to architectural plans and faded Victorian photographs.
His surreal drawings, engravings and water colours are concerned with precision and balance. These frequently portray the human figure, often reassembled, sometimes appearing part of or in direct conflict with their environment. By working in this style, he is able to comment on the human condition in all its varying forms.
David has exhibited in many London Galleries over the last 20 years, including the Gagliardi Gallery in King’s Road and the Morley College Gallery. His work is held in private collections in America, Switzerland, Australia and the United Kingdom.

| Memories of Summer |
| ‘Identity’ is the main source of inspiration in Martine’s work. She focuses on everyday objects and landscapes. By placing these in a particular context, Martine creates a thought-provoking and fascinating perspective – and in this way she explores how identity is created and influenced by its environment. |
