The Zine Library

06 July 2013

Our first mini zine fair - The Zine Library – was a huge success with over 300 visitors in the space of two days. Celebrating the handheld and the DIY this event brought together makers from all over as they flocked to share their querky and innovative fanzines and small independent publications. Over the weekend Folkestone Primary Academy’s Zine Team joined us taking up residency in Georges House Gallery, and visitors were treated to music from some of Kent’s top musicians.

A huge thank you to Lauren Jade Holmes, Owen Kimm, Susan McKenna, FPA Zine Team, Ruby Bolton, Lou Ward, Simeon Katsarov, Ed Orasinski, Rough Comforts, Natalie Evans, Wes Triffitt, Jericho Tozer and all our Zine makers and contributors. Thank you also to our funders The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust, Kent County Council, Shepway District Council, Paul Hamlyn and Interreg.
