Face to Face

This interactive art installation by Richard Land has been commissioned by Strange Cargo responds and evolves as it is viewed.
With no buttons, keyboards, controllers or touch-screens, the viewer is drawn to Face to Face as naturally as to a mirror. Only then does Face to Face begin to reveal its secrets...
In a world of increasing digital automation and all pervasive Social Media, with cameras in our phones PCs and streets, Face to Face celebrates the seductive pleasures that these advances bring; but at the same time reminds us that when we submit to their charms, we have to relinquish some control.
The exhibition opens 2nd March and has been funded by Kent County Council and Arts Council England.
