castlehill transcription project

Strange Cargo took a group of students and many of their parents to Tate Britain and Tate Modern to look at six original artworks by famous artists, to choose one to be reinterpreted and transcribed for their artwork.

A piece by British artist Chris Ofili 'Afrodizzia' was chosen. Students worked for three days at Strange Cargo’s workshop, collaborating to make a large artwork that was exhibited in Castle Hill school in Folkestone, along with individual artworks by the students, these beautiful artworks are displayed around the School as permanent pieces.
