"Pupils often go on to draw on this experience in GCSE, AS and A level work, feeling confident to make large scale pieces. The school benefits enormously, by receiving the sculptures back after the event, to have on permanent display. We very much hope to take part in this worthwhile community event again."
Carol Foster, The Folkestone School for Girls
Our projects often end with a public event or spectacle. Public recognition of the project engenders a sense of pride and creates an opportunity to involve families and the wider community. It also supplies a powerful motivator to complete the work to a high standard.
Pupils work within our schools workshop, where they learn workshop practice, research techniques, practical skills, design and team working. Schools and community groups are linked together to create one large event, offering opportunities for cross school working, creating a sense of involvement and community.
