schools, teachers & young learners
"It is always a pleasure to see a group of young people working together to acheive a shared goal. Charivari Day offers my pupils the chance to experience a major creative venture from the inside. They become part of the dream team, forging friendships over bundles of withie and fostering positive attitudes towards themselves and their home town."
Andrea Bovee, Head of Art
Our work in schools, with teachers and with young adults is designed to embed cultural skills and artistic knowledge – empowering teachers, engaging children and challenging perceived notions of learning.
We are passionate about the role of the arts in learning and young adults who worked with Strange Cargo ten years ago are now joining us in current projects, using the skills they were taught in the school workshops to develop and build the capacity and knowledge of the next generation.
