The Zine Library 2014

“A zine (/ˈziːn/ zeen; an abbreviation of fanzine, or magazine) is most commonly a small circulation self-published work of original and/or appropriated texts and images usually reproduced via photocopier.”
This July sees the second instalment of Strange Cargo's Zine Library, a public collection and forum of zines and independent publications. This years event is set to top last's years with an even wider selection of zines to brows and buy, live music, and a series of workshops for all ages running throughout the weekend.
Join us at the opening, Friday 4th July 6-9pm, for acoustic performances from low-fi pop soloist Chewing//Gum, indie-folk duo Xylaroo and the ever-eclectic Boo, Forever.
Throughout the extended weekend you can get involved in workshops in letter-press printing, 3D zine-making, mini-zine-making and more. For more details and to book follow this link.
